FOR THOSE WHO DARE TO STAND OUT

OUR WHY

The mission is simple. Create beautifully crafted framesets that perform at the highest level yet has a boutique spirit that makes it personal.

In a market full of ready to go bikes, the Chapter2 way has always been about individualisation and customisation. Our frameset only Business Model allows our customers to work closely with our global network of dealers to build their dream bike exactly the way they want, delivering a truly intimate and unique experience.

You won’t have to swap out the wheels or saddle anymore. Building a Chapter2 is a project, with the frameset being the centrepiece to hang all the best parts and components that you have meticulously selected to suit your personal needs.

How

Whilst the mission has clarity, the passage to get there is anything but. Designing awesome frames requires science, engineering and artistry, and a lot of sleepless nights. Mike is a stickler for detail, taking every curve, swoop and interface into consideration when turning an idea into a finished product.

Each Chapter2 project starts with two simple questions: "What problem are we trying to solve?" and "How much fun is this going to be to ride?". In a space where everybody is projecting watts and grams as marketing spiel, the Chapter2 measure of success is counted by how much pleasure we bring to our customers when they ride our creations.

New Zealand offers some of the best conditions to test our products and is also home to some of the most high-tech composites know-how via its yachting heritage, such as the F1 of yachting, the America’s Cup. Additionally, the rugged unsealed roads are a perfect backdrop to test each iteration to its full potential before we’re fully satisfied it's ready for you.
